WebGurness is a well-preserved Iron Age broch with a surrounding settlement, with evidence of later use during the Norse period. It stands in a spectacular location looking across Eynhallow Sound to Rousay. It was built in the 1st century AD and consists of a central tower defended by three concentric rings of earthwork banks and ditches.
