WebJul 1, 2014 · It is the original 289 with an Edelbrock F4B intake installed on it. I wanted to block off the exhaust crossovers so I was looking at the Felpro 1250 set. I have read bad things about coolant leaks with the Felpro 1250 and lots of people that say to use the Felpro 1250S3 instead. WebFeb 7, 2015 · The F4B was pretty much an exact copy of the Buddy Bar Cobra intake used on the GT350 with the 289. It is a good intake, dual plane. I believe Edelbrock made a model called F427 and it was the equivalent intake designed for the FE engines.
