The generation of photonic hook (PH) is related to the symmetry-broken of micro-particles under a plane wave illumination. Recently, twin photonic hooks (t-PHs) can be produced utilizing twin-ellipse micro-cylinder. WebJan 1, 2024 · In this work, we use a dielectric nano-layer to tune the PNJs generated from a micro-cylinder. Two kinds of illuminations i.e. symmetric and asymmetric illumination, can be achieved by adding a nano-layer at the beam input side of the cylinder. Firstly, we investigate tunable PNJs under the condition of symmetric illumination.
